Clyde Electronics CIC
Cooperative agreement signed
Clyde Electronics CIC is pleased to announce its involvement with Studio Pop CIC collaborating on their DOT-to-DOT project having recently signed a cooperative agreement. We are really excited to be involved in this project and look forward to what will be a very exciting and interesting 2017. We are especially looking forward to exploring the possibilities of this project with regard to local community engagement and regeneration. The ideas myself and Cristian (Studio Pop CEO) have been discussing are ground breaking especially their app ideas like DOT-to-DOT which we are helping to develop and Pixelland which we hope to be working on in the near future. The Canal project is also very interesting and look forward to solving the many problems we will no doubt encounter as we look to convert a barge the ‘Nolly’ into a multifunctional community resource which can move to where it is needed. Allowing all in the community to take part in a multitude of different types of activities:
- Robotic puppet theatre
- STEAMpunks – a Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths club
Along with our canal land station which will have a community cafe/ meeting space, a re-maker lab and digital solutions hub and a tool store. I also can’t wait until we secure the funding for our site in Maryhill where we plan to convert a derelict piece of land into a community resource, office and maker space, market and community garden.
Clyde Electronics is a new Social Enterprise whose aim is to act as a training, research & development centre and consultancy company in the area of Electronic Engineering and IT.
We have years of experience of look at companies business process and identify ways to improve them by looking at their current IT process and identify where these can be improved.
Far too many companies never review their process and end up having expensive human resources wasting their time carrying out task which can be automated or rationalized. We can help you identify these allowing you to free up your staff to help you actually grow your business and improve your bottom line. Do you have admin staff carrying our data entry for example when they could be more productive and process more orders with some amendments to your processes. Whilst also providing a better service to your customers.
Our founder has been involved with the Scottish Governments Modernizing Government program for 10 years. He has extensive knowledge of the One Scotland Gazetteer, the My Account System, The National Entitlement Card and the Tell Me Scotland Public Information Notices Portal. We can help you set up your on-line presence, making sure that you provide a secure trusted site to your customers. We can help you integrate your online presence with your back office. Allowing you to have a clear picture of your business, helping you spot trends and allow you to manage your stock control.
We follow an agile development process so our customers get exactly what they require faster
